Attorney Shanna Cargill is a graduate of Texas Tech University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in 1999, and Texas Tech School of Law, where she earned her J.D. in 2002. She focuses her practice in the areas of real estate, insurance defense, and general business and consumer litigation.
At Texas Tech School of Law, Ms. Cargill earned the honor of receiving the American Jurisprudence Award for Property, Constitution Law, Oil and Gas, and Land Use Planning. During law school, she also participated in Moot Court and Mock Trial.
Before joining Hayes, Berry, White & Vanzant, she spent two years litigating insurance defense cases, many of which were jury trials, throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Denton County Bar Association, the Denton County Young Lawyers Association, and currently serves as President of the Denton County Texas Tech Alumni Association.
